Adams lifts Shenzhen past Zhejiang in CBA

Darius Adams scored a game-high 30 points as the Shenzhen Aviators overcame the Zhejiang Golden Bulls 109-100 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on

Thursday.

Shenzhen displayed unwavering determination at home against a higher-ranked Zhejiang side. After both teams suffered consecutive turnovers in the final quarter, Adams fed Gu Quan's three-pointer to put Shenzhen ahead 99-98, and the home side held on through its steady free-throw performance.

Zhou Peng and Shen Zijie added 15 points each for Shenzhen.

The Jilin Northeast Tigers emerged victorious 95-90 in a hard-fought battle against the Beijing Royal Fighters, halting the recent surge of the visiting team.

The game witnessed an outstanding performance from Jilin power forward Wu Changze, whose late 3-pointer maintained his team's momentum. Wu had 12 points and nine rebounds.

"He has been a great help to the team, both defensively and offensively. Since joining us from the Liaoning Flying Leopards, he has brought his skills to our squad, and we have great confidence in him during crucial moments," said Jilin coach Gao Junchao.
